Wont take much from that schoolboy game, where Evans and Huchu excelled. The majority of English schoolboy cricket is weak as most who take cricket seriously play club cricket. Evans never impressed me that much. Good but not amazing.

Cephas Zhuwao smashed a quick 33* off 14 or 15 balls. A few wickets too for the big left hander. Not playing in the best league this year and i thought he would be doing a bit better than he is. Still doing well though !

Diplock had a unbelievable day as Flowery Field are not a bad side at all ! Who gets 148 and 5 wickets in a single game? At a decent standard too I might add. Mighty impressed with him.

Mavuta continues to impress with ball in again a decent league of cricket in Huddersfield ! Gonna follow his club progress once he is back !

As one more weekend of the UK is left I thought I would add some stats from our overseas players. Only from 50 over games.

CEPHAS ZHUWAO - Cephas has played 20 games, 16 innings and scored 590 runs at an average of 42.
Cephas has taken 32 wickets at an economy of 3.47

Richard Ngarava - Allegedly fired by his club but has returned home to an Africa T20 slot. Played 12 games scoring 65 runs at an average of 21, 4 not outs.
Richard took 6 wickets at an economy of 4.86.

Brandon Mavuta - Played 17 games, 14 innings and scored 286 runs at an average of 20.
He also took 51 wickets at an economy of 4.50

Gary Chirimuuta - Played 18 games, 15 innings and scored 686 runs at an average of 45. Didn't bowl much from what I can tell.

Brandon Diplock - Played 17 games, 17 innings and scored 590 runs at an average of 42.
Brandon also has taken 47 wickets at an economy of 3.50.

Deven Bell - Played 24 games, 11 innings and scored 119 runs at an average of 15.
Deven has taken 28 wickets at an economy of 3.98.

William Mashinge according to my sources has been playing 4th Division cricket in Cornwall so I'm not going to read into that too much.

Diplock should be in. Mates from a team who faced Edenfield CC said he was dangerous with the bat and very good with the ball. Heard he'd picked up a niggle and was bowling at half pace, but still managed 4 wickets. Swung it both ways apparently. Get this bloke in the Africa T20

What happened to 'Diplock will be playing in my team this upcoming season'.

You've worded it as if you were just talking to randoms.

Just going to sift through the continued watermelon dross/racism/retarded ideas for a moment and answer.
Brandon was on our radar, but little to my knowledge we had already been in talks with a South African called Tyler Trenowoth, who's actually eligible to represent Zimbabwe as both his parents are Zimbabwean and was born in Bulowayo. He's absolutely class and if SA goes tits up in a couple of years he's going to try his hand with Zimbabwe.

Dipaz has done amazing at his club and he knows it. This fella' needs to be in a Franchise side at the expense of one of the old, tried and tested black players who fail continually...I've cast my rod, will Watermelon bite

Carl Mumba, Stephen Chimhamhiwa, Mkululi Nyathi, Mark Mbofana are all better than your favourite player Diplock.. Taking wickets in some boozers league isn't really looked at.. He couldn't take a wicket in last year's 50 over competition.. He bats 3/4 for his club in the UK but bats number 11 at Eagles!! Be serious please..

Why do you use the term ' boozers league'.? He's a very good player playing in a decent standard of club cricket. You make it sound like it's a load of blokes on the piss , having a bit of a hit in the park.
It's taken seriously my friend, and the term is insulting to both Diplock,( and other overseas zimbos who are playing league cricket in UK), and to the many here who play and are involved in Club Cricket. Come and watch a game of ECB Premier league cricket and then tell me it's ' boozers league' !

Because Timoni or what ever his name is didn't give him a chance!
He's in no boozers like neither, he's in the second Division of the Greater Manchester Premier League, pipe down, be serious please..
