Even their bowlers are batting well..... Our bowling attack is shit

Good to see Williams getting some runs. Just about the only good thing to come out of this warm up. Egg in the face for the selectors surely how could they leave him out of the National Side. The rest pretty ordinary stuff Chatara didn't even bowl in the second innings. Aliseni going for runs but showing there might be something to work with.
Wonder how bad Mawoyos injury could be.

Chakbva just hit the spinner Craig for 22 in one over. Might be finding his mojo

Another two runs to get 50 and he would have been certain to retain his place in the staring line up. He should still, from this performance but selectors may have already forgotten about his heroics in Bangladesh or haven't been briefed that he is the first name on the team sheet. If it wasn't for the fact that Richmond Mutumbami is such a horrendous wicketkeeper, I wouldn't have ben alarmed so much at Chakabva's lack of form/practice. Timely knock this one.

What outcome are we expecting from playing a full strength NZ side, they are a serious team.
Even with the vagaries of cricket, the only likely one is a huge defeat and more bitter recriminations and soul searching by the fans. Somehow we seem to be getting worse, or the other teams are getting better?
We're caught between a rock and a hard place, we need to keep playing these teams in order not to lose our spot and to keep the money rolling in for the thieves to keep taking, but the defeats are sapping the life force out of us.
Taibu is a pawn and ZC's purge is almost complete.
Aliseni would be a real prospect if he lost some weight, which he's been trying to do for years, so how serious can he be?
There's no doubt he gets it through though.
There's a new low coming after this.

Too bad ZC won't purge some of these under-performing players.
