1Unfortunately he has been focused on his studies and was not invited to join any HMCA squad. a good player looked a tad rusty when i saw him this week but attributed to off season. Great chap doubt he will stick around

Sadly over such a long weekend one Premier league game was played in Harare as Rainbow strangled Takashinag 2 patriots by 75runs. Rainbow were put into bat and set 231 built around an anchored innings of 80 plusnot out from Robo Chinyegeterere and another 50 plus score from Tino Mafusire.

Unfortunatley the other games did not take place due to a lack of funds for 4 of the teams for transport , lunches and accommodation. I am shaking my head at the fact that the Two Bulawayo teams could have played as they were also scheduled to play this past weekend but did not.The costs are low what was only needed was 15 dollast for water and 150 dollars for 40 lunches.

This is what always happens. A competition "roars into life" but then after a few weeks games start getting cancelled due to lack of money, equipment, or just general disorganisation.

It's the same old story, players expect ZC to fund them to play club cricket. It works out to be about $5 each. can they not afford the $5 themselves or is it a matter of principle that they are insisting that ZC pay it and provide the ball?
Just meet and decide whether you're prepared to fund this yourselves or insist the money for the whole tournament is given over to a committee so this doesn't happen. If they're not prepared to hand the money that is required over then don't go ahead because this is what happens every single time. There is no learning curve, there's no such thing as a free lunch. A couple less cricket bats to Mberengwa High Performance Centre and this weekend might have happened.

Until everyone sits down and refuses to play another game until proper people are put in place then you deserve what you get.

We are being smashed by New Zealand on the top field and smashed by Uganda on the bottom field. To get some confidence going I think we should have a game against the Ray Charles XI

It's a long read but quite interesting. It would appear that they may have overtaken us. We may have the most incompetent and corrupt administrative body of any sport on the planet.
