Ridiculous. What a useless state of affairs, the players dont help themselves either though by refusing to pay anything ! The blame goes to ZC first and foremost for not being able to organize anything whatsoever except the wiring of thousands of $ to their bank accounts !

Im so sick of games being cancelled, what a useless state of a country we live in. And to think all it takes is honesty, and common sense. Unfortunately none of the admin have even 1 of those traits.

Its a sad situation but its made worse with the liquidity and economic challenges. I do hope it improves but if the pursue strings are being held tightly and starving the game it wont help completing fixtures but I expect games to be played . My Rainbow has a weekend off so sad.

The catch up round has been played results and tables have been updated.

Muzvezve continues to apply pressure on Rainbow with the two teams set to clash this weekend. The clash should see Muzvezve call up Prince Masvaure , Malcom Waller and PJ Moor in a bid to wrestle the lead from the party bus Rainbow Cricket Club. Takashinga 2 patriots were shocked by Masvingos southern lions who called up Luke Jongwe and Richmond Mutubami into the their squad as they revivide their dark horse chances in winning the league and ending Takashingas hopes of a top two finish.

Good stuff. The standard and profile of this tournament should rise a little now that the national team players are available.

NO ZPL fixtures played this weekend as ZC has no funds for the 4th round fixtures. The tournament has been set back by another two weeks.

I have just seen the chairman of zimbabwe cricket in the crowd watching Srilanka vs Australia first ODI,he was seated with what looks like Cricket Srilanka officials.
Hopefully he is organising the next coming tour to zim.

He looked very Chubby, Nice suit by the way blue suits him well

Very sad.

What cricket is coming up? Is anything scheduled? Presumably the local leagues can't start until this ZPL eventually finishes. What about the Franchise/Provincial/whatever-the-hell-it-is-now? When will that happen?...

But surely it can't start if half the clubs are meant to be playing ZPL?
