POLITICS IN MALCOLM LAKE's EXCLUSION FROM AFRICA T20 SQUAD

Post by STONEMAN »

In few months before, two allrounders Malcolm Lake and James Bruce said that they were available for Zimbabwe National Team Selection. Zimbabwe Cricket Board Chairman Makhuhalani confirmed that they will be playing for Development side & Africa T20 Cup 2016.

Zimbabwe Selectors named Malcolm Lake in the side for the Africa T20 Cup, but two days before the start of the tournament he has been replaced by useless old horse Tymcen Maruma.

Zimbabwe Team which will represent in Africa T20 to be coached by two biggest RACIST in Zimbabwe Cricket History and may be responsible for Lake's exclusion

STEPHEN MANGANGO - This racist was responsible for selecting just one white player in playing xi in Bangladesh Tour 2014. Had a rift with star batsman Sean Williams and dropped him from that Bangladesh Tour.

PROSPER UTSEYA - One of the biggest racist who racially alleged Alistar Cambell for bringing Heath Streak & Grant Flower as coach and was responsible for removing him from Zimbabwe Cricket Board.
His Coaching Degree received from South Africa have been declared " FAKE ". He should be under the bars.

Zimbabwe Squad now includes just three white players, with players like Nathan Waller, Ryan Burl, Kyle Bowie & Deven Bell ignored.

Shumba has been brought in as reserve player. Luke Roche, Greg Dollar have also done best in recent Malaysia Tour but still Shumba Preffered over them clearly sense the existence of racial politics in selection

Did Bruce say he was available for national team selection? I doubt on that. Nathan Waller hasn't done much to be selected, Burl is injured and rest of the guys are either not good enough or have made themselves unavailable. I don't think Lake was dropped, but may have pulled out his name from the list at the last moment due to personal reasons.Whites are now a minority in Zimbabwe, and there aren't many good players left in the country. It has anything to do with the quotas. The black players who are selected in this team are pretty talented and also they are committed to play for Zim. Also, I hate to say this, but Mangongo is the only guy who has given ample opportunities to the youngsters both in U-19 and senior national teams. It's a very good sign that we are seeing Ives, Murray, Mashinge, Mavuta etc playing this tournament. Most of the guys who played the same tournament last year are still sticking around Zimbabwe. If few of these guys can make it to the national team, then we can expect to see better results in the future.
