Streak Targets Jarvis, Taylor, and Mire
Streak explicitly targetted the return of these 3 players but also mentioned others (presumably Byrom, Welch, Lake, et al).
Anyone know how much pull someone like Streak would have to get this necessary thing done? He's one of ZIM's biggest legends, certainly commands respect all around the world. It would be fantastic if he could convince Taylor and Jarvis to come back given ZIM have a lot more fixtures these days than before.

Apparently Jarvis is reported in the media having already said "No Thanks"
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

Zimbabwe Legend showing greatness in his thinking and approach. He knows the present bunch are rubbish players, good for nothing, group of unskilled loosers, particularly the "blacks ", not a single player looked talented after Taibu & Olonga

Even Taibu mentioned in his interview with Dean du Plessis about having spoken to these 3. He was also planning to speak to Sean Ervine. But till anything concrete comes out, it is just wishful thinking even on the part of Taibu and Streak to talk about it. They can't promise anything on behalf of ZC and those who have left know that too.
Re: Streak Targets Jarvis, Taylor, and Mire
I'm certain that Sean will have another tilt at zim colours.
Look at the timing, he's 35 and a World Cup in two years. His county career is likely to finish a few months out from a World Cup, in which an extra year on his career and playing with his little brother in a World Cup will be too much to pass up.
We haven't seen the end of him, bar a big injury.

Disappointing from Streak. He needs to be focused on developing our young talent, not chasing mercenaries.

Re: Streak Targets Jarvis, Taylor, and Mire
Interestingly, Streak mentioned Godwill Mamhiyo with Taylor, Jarvis and Mire in the same breath as those who have been lost to the game in Zim! Looks like Mamhiyo has probably quit the game to pursue some other profession? Anyone has more info on this?

Ah! A la Hamilton Masakadza then. Hopefully he would be back with cricket once he's done with that, like in the former's case.zimfan1 wrote:Gone to university in South Africa for 3 years.
