As if its Cremer v/s Sri Lanka, rest are enjoying holidays

Post by SINCERE »

The first Test going between Zimbabwe v/s Sri Lanka at Harare, is looking like a one man show for Zimbabwe. Cricket is a game of 11 players, but when it comes to Zimbabwe its become the game of individuals. Its Greame Cremer, who is alone fighting with the bowl & also with the bat.

When it comes to bowling, the old horse Chris Mpofu, Donald Tiripano continues to disappoint picking early wickets. The same pitch where Sri Lankan Pacer Lakmal & Kumara is troubling the Zimbabwe Batsman, Zimbabwe Pacers can't create woos for the batsman, its three consecutive test since New Zealand, that bowling is hurting Zimbabwe. Except, Cremer none of the bowler, has bowled with Venom.

Batting has also disappointed, its clearly indicates old aged Masakadza & Mowayo should retire from the game, as they continue to disappoint with 30s & 40s, which are not enough for test cricket, ITS SEEMS SELECTORS HAVE TO MUCH FAITH ON THEIR USELESD EXPERIENCE THEN ON YOUNG TALENTS LIKE MUSAKANDA OR MASVAURE. Brian Chari, proved again that he is unfit for international cricket, he has got many chance, but fails every time in international arena, quite similar to ex England Batsman, Mark Ramprakash who looked great in domestic games, but was a big failure in international stage. Ervine & Williams should'nt be blamed, as they both have failed first time, after remarkable sereis against New Zealand, and over last two years, Zimbabwe has been dependent on these two. Moor played well supported Cremer to give the score some respect. Tiripano, should learn how to bowl then to bat, he has been selected to pick wickets as a bowler not as a batsman, his bowling looks awakawrd, neither he has got pace nor swing or seam, in the whole test for Zimbabwe, fight is shown by only one man thats Graeme Cremer

I think we need to get Mark Ramprakash into the Zimbabwean team.

Mark Ramprakash has retired, he was same like Brian Chari scoring plenty in domestic & fast class cricket and rubbish in international Cricket. At present, he is a batting consultant of England Cricket Team

Yeah very similar to Brian- 35000 first class runs at an average of over 50 with 114 hundreds vs 1600 runs at an average of 20 with 2 hundreds.

You can't compare like that way, but if u look closely, both scored runs in domestic cricket but have failed to show talent in international arena. Ramprakash had a great domestic career, but he failed whenever he got chance to represent England

The Way Brian Chari is playing domestic cricket, he can surely match up close to Ramprakash Stats if he plays for long time like him, as he scoring tons regularly in two or three domestic games, but the same guy is failing in international cricket regularly

Ramprakash has finished his career, whereas Chari is in his mid phase. His 20 average was due to failures in early season, but look at his present performance he had tons against Sri Lanka A & Pakistan A, his scores are like 118, 53, 85, 59,76.....is in good touch but whats worrying is this same player struggles in international stage, played 4 testsand in these 4 he looked out of touch atleast 50 should have been there.

Ramprakash is far superior to Chari, he would have walked into any international side in his day, except for Australia. Ramprakash was never given a fair run by the English selectors.

Ramprakash played 52 test to proof his skills but he failed in international arena. ECB always gives chances to the players who have got talent UNLIKE ZIMBABWE WHERE TALENTS HAS TO SEAT OUT DUE TO RACIAL QUOTA SYSTEM. Peter Moor was the victim of quota, when skill less Mutumbami & Chakabva played games after games doing nothing.

Players like Ives, Murray, Burl, Bowie, N.Waller, D.Bell, Diplock are kept away from the A team & franchise cricket, giving rubbish old horses like Chigumburra, Sibanda, Nyumbhu, Mowayo in the A squads.
