So basically Cremer and Williams have to bat out the next 30 overs at least, with Tiripano and whoever is not out playing out the final 25 overs.
Doesn't look good does it.

The colonial batting in this Test, bar Cremer and Moor, has been abysmal.

This reverse swing thing that the Lankans are getting - and they are a pretty inexperienced attack barring Herath (Lakmal would not make the XI if Prasad, Pradeep, Eranga and Chameera were fit) - another area where we have no clue. Our bowlers / teams have no idea of how to get the reverse swing working, for days like yesterday. Someone like Tiripano could suddenly become lethal if we can work on that. Goes to show again that we are really pedestrian when it comes to cricketing acumen. Hopefully Streak can help these guys at least bring the reverse swing to the armory...

Forget reverse swing, none of our guys know how to get any swing.
Hell, I'd even settle for movement off the seam.

Basically, our seamers are toothless and slow. They won't trouble too many attacks unfortunately.

Just read about the next shocker ... we deserve a mighty thunderstorm now which wipes out the rest of the day's play

If Graeme Cremer is batting at the close of play, surely he's man of the match.

Williams needs to stand up today too. He needs to take on the responsibility of making sure he's there at the end.
