Do or Die Match: Zim vs WI
Waited long hoping someone would create the match thread, but no one did. Results haven't been nice when I have created them before, but don't blame me, we have about 30 mins to go and it wasn't looking good without the match thread...
Unfortunately not expecting any changes to the XI, given how rigid the Streak-Taibu combo has been through the season.

zimbabwe won the toss and chose to bat first
Re: Do or Die Match: Zim vs WI
why it takes so much time for the comment to get posted here ? it normally takes an hour or two for me ? does it take the same for everyone ? the flow gets broken when its not published immediately

Chari keeps his place for some umknown reason but at least Chigumbura is out at last, still no Musakanda though
48-1 after 11 and the covers are going in to bat ........

What a spineless performance so far. Must win game and nobody willing to dig in.
Wouldn't surprise me if Cremer grinds out 50 while everyone else drops around him.

Got our usual collapse out of the way. Now for Raza and Moor to put on a partnership. 200 would be enough on this pitch.

It's already turning square, so it will be interesting to see how Cremer goes this afternoon.
Jaymoor showing some good intent

That's what I like about him, he doesn't show fear.

I spoke too early with the collapse. We can't play spin for shit.

Re: Do or Die Match: Zim vs WI
Embarrassing.
I've been saying for years we should invite some D-grade wrist spinners from India or Sri Lanka over to play in the Logan Cup. They'd absolutely clean up, but maybe it help us learn to play spin better...
OR... why not send some of our batsmen to play in the Ranji Trophy? They've got like 600 FC teams over there. Even someone like Chari would make a first XI somewhere you'd think.
