Obviously someone had to do it in our first ODI itself, and Fletcher scored that match winning 69. Andy Flower had a sparkling debut with 115 that turned out to be the top score for the team as well. Dekker debuted with a gritty 79, Malcolm Waller scored 24 and became the top scorer in that horribly low scoring game in BD that we won thanks to the heroics of him and Ray Price. Mutumbami debuted with a 64 in that fateful loss at home against Afghanistan in a series that indicated things to come vs the same opponents in future series as well as cost Taylor the captaincy.
