Bothwell Chapunga...what is this man doing in Zimbabwe FC Cricket?

Those stats are chronic. 107 FC innings at an average of 20. Hhm, work your magic and show me some reason, any reason, why he should be in this Midwest Rhinos side

It might be news to you but ZCF is not some sort of homogenous super-vehicle expecially designed by white supremacists to annoy you. As Crimson said in the other thread, get a life, and stop behaving as if every discussion here is about you or your opinions. Enjoy the cricket, you bore

Why in gods name are youngsters being ignored when guys like this are getting a look in? Baffling.

1.Taylor, Malcolm and a non-keeping Moor hiding.
2.While Maxwell fights against batting below Wade, a Cremer with a woeful bowling test avg, but more promising batting, is happy to bat below Chapungu
These are things that should concerning us, but they don't because... ah well let's just say they are unworthy

More than satisfactory day 1 in FC cricket for Rising Stars.
Anyone yet to get on the Mashinge bandwagon?

Mashinge bowling well is a good sign. Their pace attack looks very good. Put Mumba in instead of that other guy who was fetching then they actually have a potent attack with guys bowling in the mid 130s-140. Ngarava and Muzarabani also had decent economy rates showing that they are not bad. its the batting lineup which is too thin and relies on 2 all rounders to put in a big shift.

He is a fool to believe he is Test match opener material. Should never allow himself to be used this way.CrimsonAvenger wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 12:56 pmThis could turn out to be a costly failure for Mire from the WI tests viewpoint.

I still think 25 is still very young for a keeper if they haven't been in the setup constantly. Solid work needs to be put into his batting and then his leadership behind the stumps. The most successful keepers are those that lead from behind the stumps. Change the field, make sure players have their angles right etc. You want to make sure that that person, has the confidence to step into the role. In my opinion get him in the A squad that is playing against the west indies and have him in the extended squad in Bulawayo for the tests.pariah wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2017 12:41 pmI also had him in my XI for Rhinos. Moor is probably a poorer keeper than Kasuza. He shouldn't be in keeper discussions at all really. Desperation gives rise to his relevance, but like the non-spinners ZImbabwe employ, it's more beneficial to just use a specialist. In the end what hey leak is way more than the runs they score.
