Batsman arent responsible for test loss. Zimbabwe can lose anywhere even after scoring 500, because the bowlers have been biggest failure. Even with the presence of Chatara & Jarvis this team will struggle, bowling is simply nothing & batsman are getting crumbled in second innings because of the pressure of lead.

120 kph pacers with no variations from spinners cant hurt Zimbabwe anytime.

Tiripano is big overrated so called allrounder, Tshuma, Nyuachi, Ndoluvu doesnt belongs at this level. Even Chatara & Jarvis is doubtfull to perfom in longest format.

Mukuhalani who has habit of firing coaches should fire himself from his post after debacle in U19 World Cup, Failing to qualify CWC 2019 and now worst performance in Test.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with criticizing your best players for not coming to the party. BT might be the only genuine world class batsman we have. When he fails it impacts the team heavily. I don't see anything wrong with demanding only the best from our very best.

There is no point in criticizing Maruma Regis and Ainsley when they were probably playing at their very best level. The selectors are to blame for picking them.

BT and Raza are much better players than what we saw. Mushfiqur scored his 7th triple figure score in 70 matches. Taylor has 6 from 30. He is that good. Mushfiqur knew with Tamim not scoring big he had to. Taylor knew Williams wasn't there but he still gave away his wicket twice.

You will find even the likes of Kohli get criticized when they don't score big. Nobody should be immune to criticism. BT is our best and he gets paid accordingly. Everybody can see the way he is playing is kind of different to the old days. No match awareness.there is nothing wrong with calling that out.
No one is immune to criticism (unless your name is Hammy), however, that criticism has to be justified.

Some people expect BT and Raza to play on the same level as Kohli and Smith every single game, but they refuse to give them the means to do that. Even Smith and Kohli will have a bad game once in a while, but won't be as vilified as BT and Raza. Smith and Kohli have competent boards. Efficient and well run domestic scenes. They have the infrastructure and board that understands cricket. They have coaches that actually know what they are doing and how to develop players.

How can we expect our big players to perform when we can't even provide them with a proper domestic scene in which to play regularly? How can they be expected to perform when we continue to treat them like dirt by cutting wages, abusing power over players who should be in the team, and not providing them with basics to be professional cricketers? How can players be consistent when there is so much division and hate towards certain players, and so much favouritism towards others? BT and Raza were left out to dry by the likes of Hammy because they fought for better conditions for everyone, and then they get vilified at every turn.

Definitely have to blame the selectors for some of the selections, but this BT and Raza are not the same of years gone by and yet they are still our best players and probably ones you can rely on more.

I have not seen BT's 2nd innings wicket, but his 1st innings wicket was definitely a bit of bad luck. No one plans to sweep on to their own stump and had he played that shot again, he would have not gotten out 99 times out of 100.

I don't think anyone can say we expected to go to Bangladesh and win this match. It was a shit show from before we left. Even if BT and Raza scored big, the bowlers were never going to take 10 wickets and the Bangladesh batsmen confirmed it on and off the field.

This match going to be over till tea break. This fellows can't draw a match in their own backyard against Sri Lanka in last day, how can they survive in 4th day sub continent pitch, which is one of the hardest thing for travelling team, a simple off break bowler can get a surprising turn & bounce in this sort of tracks.

Nayeem Hasan is simple off break bowler without any variation but the pitch condition will make him look diffrrant
Thats pinpoint prediction !!!!
You’d save a lot of energy if you just posted from one account brah.

BD won by an innings. That's hard to believe. This is the second innings win in our history (first one was against West Indies).

Zimbabwe played well during 1st innings but they lost the plot after that.

The selection was wrong, full stop.
Somebody is having a big big say in this team selection and it certainly isn't the nominated selectors!!
Maruma, Ndlovu and Tshuma were baaad picks. No penetration what so ever in the attack. I'd have loved to have faced this attack at my local club.
Somebody send an SOS to Anthony Ireland

I thought Tshuma might have been this tearaway quick. He has a bowling average of 15 at first class!!! Dissapointed but he has good natural attributes with his heights and lovely run up
Some A team cricket would be most beneficial for these boys

Chucking raw kids from FC straight to the national team is not the way to do it. The board is at fault for that. A cricket is crucial for mental development. The real deal requires a lot of mental strength.

Speaking of chucking lets throw some money at blessing muzarabani to come back. Let's dispense with 123k trundlers. Let's work witj Tshuma to get his pace up as he has a lovely action and good height. Raw attributes. Let's invest in our chinaman and let's have shumba and madhevere come to Bangladesh

Tshuma's body shape doesnt looks he can gain pace.Work should be done on Daniel Jakiel, he can bowl toe crushing yorkers, can make Zimbabwe win few matches if his pace gets improved.

R Ngarava had pace & swing, but at present he is all over the place, if he gets proper coaching can also be fruitfull in future

Abu Jayed was bowling slightly slower than usual. He was around 125-126 kph in the first innings and then around 122 in the 2nd. Ebadat was around 130 in the first, and up around 137-138 in the 2nd. I like how he was able to slow down 5 mph to bowl more economically. Top speeds were as follows:

Ebadat - 143.6
Jayed - 134.4
Tiripano - 134.0
Tshuma - 133.7
Nyuachi - 129.3

Nyauchi is the slowest of the lot. Jarvis and Chatara would likely have sent down a couple in the 137 (85 mph) range.
