Not the first time I've come across such statements. Did I miss something, or can someone substantiate those figures for me?

Cricket is definately not coming second to rugby or soccer in this country as those two sports are even in worst dire straits than cricket but it is the fact that a starting salary for franchise cricket is virtually the same as the minimum wage for commercial industry in Zim that is worrying. There is no incentive for young players to continue with the game. In fact the odd young player playing club cricket in England is making more in a week than he would in a month playing as a rookie for a franchise.

seems to be getting better , watched him last nite take 2 for 30 odd and 2nd top scored with 47 run a ball pretty much, we do need him back no matter what anyone says . he would slot nicely into the number 5 position also bolwing 2nd change

Ervine at 5 or 6 would be great for the middle order, that's for sure.

be great for the bowling as well , would allow us to play cremer and price as well as 2 front line quicks and chigz . also his experience and leadership would help the squad

never said it will, but we're talking about a guy who turned down a chance to help re-build his nations cricket reputation, yet he decides to stay at a county side ? It doesn't cut it with me, thus I've lost a lot of respect for the man...if we were talking about this 2-3 years ago, I'd be the leader of this debate since i'd have wanted him back too...but at the moment..nah
