Regis should be batting at 5 in this line up. He looked very composed out there today. He's clearly a better bat than Maruma or Kaia and batting at 7 he's wasted when he runs out of partners.

Addin marumani and madhevere and we have a pretty exciting mix of youth and experience

Hopefully Ervine and Williams will be back. Raza and Burl I'm more doubtful about but add in Wes, Marumani, Myers and Jongwe, and that's an exciting team.

Especially after how he batted against Pakistan. Having an in-form batsman stride out at 7 was foolish. Regis should have played most of his career at 5, in fact. Given his approach to the game.

I think Regis was pushed down the order from a couple of rough games amidst a period of few tests. Single or double failures that amount to a whole year in tests can skew things. If a decent keeper gets discovered Regis should perhaps play as one of the new senior batsmen.

Kaitano looked really good,if he does well in his second innings we may have a good Balanced top order.
I certainly think he will learn a lot from Playing with Craig Ervine, Williams, Raza, Taylor.


I get the feeling that Taylor is getting ready to hang up his boots, but he still maybe negotiating terms.

I think he should take up the Player/coach role for Midwest Rhinos or any of the Franchise.

I hope Hamilton can nudge some of the players retiring to take up Admin/ Coaching roles within ZC.

This is the only way we can get quality players coming through if the coaches and personnel know about cricket
