Ireland have been shot out for 71 runs.
So a massive victory for the under 19s.
How things change

Great turnaround.
I said yesterday that in a way this series is more important than the World Cup in terms of getting an idea of how we are stacking up compared to realistically our main rivals these days in international cricket.

My word, Irish cricket is disastrous at the moment. They must be very worried about the future.
Our boys confidence must be right up after that turnaround today. 67-7 and ended up winning by 130-odd runs!
Hopefully they post a scorecard.

Ya thats going to be interesting reading. Must have been another big turner.
I'm astonished at that. You'd think WI would produce more spinners.

As the kids sing, “The wheels on the bus go round and round”. Same shit different day. I agree, Zimbabwe will never be competitive if we continue to lose players of this calibre, we already have a very shallow pool of players to choose from. It’s understandable that Zim cricketers with UK passports are always going to leave at the first chance they get, but losing Ruwisi, Myers etc without a fight is deplorable, on the part of ZC.Googly wrote: ↑Thu Dec 30, 2021 6:34 pmThis is what needs to change if we have even the remotest chance of improving our cricket.
Surely they should have gotten hold of this guy a year ago and said he was in the team??
Zc don't give a fuck, but he's good enuf for SA?
And they're flying non traveling reserves around that nobody has ever seen? If he makes that SA side then he's just plain good!! No accountability for letting this guy slip through the net.
That said, SA has never had a problem developing their own fast bowlers, for example Jansen is a just one of many young fast bowlers coming through the SA system. I don’t see Ruwisi doning a Proteas jersey ever, unless he is a prodigious talent , so hopefully he is not entirely lost. It’s way past time for Hami and his “administration”, Jarvis and other “talent scouts” can get off their fat behinds and work to get him back into the fold

I want to know which 7 and 8, or maybe one top order guy ground out what must have been more than a hundred run partnership on what looks like a tricky deck
