Ya you'd think our resident "talent scouts" should spend more time talking to these types than loitering around Mazarabani Centre of Excellence. Pretty sure they just want to see a 3-5 year contract at 5k a month. When the hierarchy are helping themselves to 15k plus a month in theory it's possible

I want to know which 7 and 8, or maybe one top order guy ground out what must have been more than a hundred run partnership on what looks like a tricky deck
Mitchell I reckon, he looks a very good cricketer. Has a bit of attitude as well from what I hear.
Ya he batted thereabouts yesterday

Always a problem with all things Zimbabwe Cricket. The Bangladesh administrators are probably raking in 2-3 times the salaries/benefits the ZC admins do, yet they were fellow “minnows” less than a decade ago. How did they do it?? First they developed thier cricket, built good teams, employed coaches who actually give a damn… big corporate money saw the potential to invest in them..now they have more $$$. In the pot to go round and don’t have to wait for ICC stipends and grants. ZC admin on the other hand want to eat…and eat today, investing in players is an after-thought

In a nutshell. Short-term thinking. No long-term planning.

Sort of describes the country as a whole actually!

Mitchell and Brian Bennet with all the runs down the order. Great stuff. Mataranyika with a 5fer too. All bowled!

Looks like they might have finally settled on Wolhuter as keeper. Check out that stunner catch to get Macbeth out!!

Do we even have any good seamers at all in this squad? Zvinoero is the only one that's played so far

Thanks for this!!! This Mitchell kid is something isn’t he?? He needs to be moved up the order to 6??? I hope that the Bennet brothers are the second coming of the Flower bros. Mataranyika is quite a stocky spinner, he too can be moulded into something. Ireland takes their cricket seriously, I think this Zim team might actually gives us something to talk about

Those lofted drives by Mitchell were pretty classy and bennet look a brute when it comes to hitting. We saw glimpses against namibia I guess

Take a look at the Zvinoero wicket and the Wolhuter grab behind the stumps. That was top drawer.
This Zvinoero lad has got potential. He's a bit chunky but he bowls a really heavy ball.
