If we did do 5 overs what’s our strategy?

Bowl spin then when it’s our turn to bat open with Burl and Raza and hope for a miracle?

I know everyone is saying a wash out would be good, but I think it's so dissapointing that we won't be able to see the lads play. It's half term in the UK for teachers and I was looking forward to a day watching the lads

Blessing, Ngarava, Chatara and pray to god.

Open with Raza and Williams and pray to god.

Lots of praying involved.

I agree, the whole point of us being keen for the guys to qualify was to see them play on the big stage. It's very rare for Zimbabwe cricket to be visible on a world stage so its pointless if half their games are rained off.

Delusion people on here are thinking of semi finals, it's not realistic...

In theory the shorter the game the higher the chances of an upset.

Yeah true.
And all it has done now has just made the Pakistan game do or die.
I’ve concluded it’s not a net win or a net loss mathematically so the fact we are not seeing them in action comes into play, just as supporters.

‘We can’t lose if we don’t play’ is the supporters logic version of ZC’s ‘can’t spend money if we don’t play’ genius of 2016-2020.

There is definitely the potential for upset, but we shouldn't accept that this mean it will automatically be us. We are definitely capable of being the ones to be upset. We just need to take each game as it comes and focus on ourselves, not what the others are doing.
Couldn't agree more, just need to do their best, not worry too much about semi finals and all, just need to try and win as many games here and also not worry about the reputation of the opposition.

Looks like we can have a shortened game. Once in 2007 when Zimbabwe played a rain effected game (although it was a full game) in T20 WC was against Australia and Zimbabwe bowlers ran through an all conquering Australian batting line up... Just saying 😁
