Honestly, I much rather Ervine. He is the only guy who plays with a straight bat. All the others try these flicks and sweeps and fancy stuff that never comes off.

Even the commentators are talking about how our guys are doing too much when all they need to do is steady themselves, head still, body upright, and play with a straight bat.

The fact that Raza, Chakabva have also failed disproves the theory that Ervine should not have opened.

Fair enough but I would have gone with Wes and Raza I think. Wes is a better opener than we give him credit for

Nothing about this batting order makes sense. Raza/Chakabva/Burl/Jongwe should have been the top four. Although Madhevere is laying some claim to being a T20 opener with the way he's approached this.

First time we've seen a Zim player pull off an upper cut since Taylor? :4:
