Only if Ballance came in at 3. The scorecard might've been massively different. Can't still find a reason for sending chamu in at 3 after a whole day of soul searching.
The commentators said it... because he can't play spin very well

They basically played 5 batsmen here of which 2 failed. At least if the keeper was a live wire with the gloves then his selection would make sense. Otherwise he is just as good as Marumani with the gloves
Didn't Madande just score a first class 100 recently? Very bizarre that he was left out

I actually thought Evans was going to bat at 6. This is the first time I have to say DH and co have gotten it completely wrong in my opinion. Even with injuries this is still the wrong team
You're smoking some good weed if you ever think Brad Evans can bat successfully at 6 in test cricket

Yeah Ballance batting too low, this is why I wanted him to open or bat at 3, if he came in then & blunted the attack with Kaia things might be different.

Really need Mavuta to play a gem here, probably 30 odd from him. I really think if Zimbabwe can avoid the follow on they avoid defeat, if they have to follow on there’s every chance they get folded for 100 and all out.

I've always underestimated Shingi Masakadza. He's a decent player. My line-ups have invariably omitted him and I'm having to rethink.
You mean Wellington? Or Shingi?! The ship has probably sailed for Shingi although he’s still a good stalwart in domestic cricket.

Wellington is massively underrated by everyone, unfairly.
Jeez sorry, I meant Welly.

Having pumped Welly up he gets out to the softest of dismissals at the worst possible time.

The batting order needs a revisit in the 2nd Innings.

The AC Academy need to invest in a Merlin. Too much to ask ZC to do it.
Getting better against spin is not that tough. Robin Brown is a great coach for learning a few rules against spin.

Why? He's work in progress with plenty of ability and great hands.
