Time to bring Wellington on and give the seamers a spell , it really is a pop gun attack. 2 spinners in tandem should be the plan .

I didn't even mention our depth, so not sure what you are talking about here.
Your comment implies that the WI 2nd side are just as bad as our 2nd side or that our 1st XI are way better than any depth they have. WI are not amazing, but let's not kid ourselves, they have much stronger depth than we have and their 2nd XI would not be terrible against our 1st XI.
Are they? I've no idea - that's why I asked the question. Please do enlighten me about the West Indies 2nd XI. Maybe you watch a lot of their Regional cricket?

A quick look through their stats suggests their 2nd XI would involve a lot of batsmen with averages in the mid 20's in their local domestic cricket (which they play less of than Zimbabwe do).

If the West Indies want a result here then they need to put Zim back in after tea latest. Maybe get a 200 run lead. Either they do that or turn it into a batting session for guys like Da Silva

It won't rain so much for the remaining 3 days will it? I think they will instead get bowled out.

Guys, there is no way back when you get bowled out in 2 sessions on day 1. We are wasting our time and honestly I'm so pissed off at these players either not playing or are injured. Such torture as a fan.

Looks like we missed a trick here as usual. We should have bowled Mavuta and Wellington in tandem for most of the first session after may be an initial burst by the pacers. Too many unnecessary no pressure building overs from pacers.

No lessons learnt. Starting off post lunch session with Tiripano. FFS.
