The truth is the last year of Zim cricket has been really boring (at best) and disheartening (at worst... there's only so many times you can lose to Afghanistan and Uganda and Solomon Islands and find positives in it).
Zimbabwe is a Test nation in name only now. Hell, maybe a cricket playing country in name only too? ZC have run things into the ground to the point of no return I think. Taylor got out at the right time...
It's probably not a coincidence. No Taylor = no Zimbabwe. We've been diabolical since he left.Jemisi wrote:I think BRMT is still damaged from BRMT leaving. He can have some more grace as far as I am concerned.
I'm just so glad that I got to see a Zimbabwe win during the "glory days" (because that's how we'll come to view the 2010-15 era). I feel very fortunate for that.
I share your sentiments on what things have become.
However,
In all due respect, and Admittedly i do not know what your decision linitations are on this topic, whilst you (and perhaps maehara) are ''bored' with Zimbabwe cricket, there are still people here posting. Still fighting for the cause.
This goes to maehara equally when I say this, but there has been matters that potentially have real life consequences that have occurred on this forum in yours and mr M's absence. Some issues are inboxed to me for help, possibly confused as to my campaign actually being some sort of affirmation that I am indeed an admin, I don't know, but people are turning somewhere.
Not to mention we also have random Chinese spam posts, Indians that are signing up for what I suspect are ulterior motives than Zimbabwean cricket, and lunatics like watermelon arriving that have free reign to spew whatever crazy shit he's thinking.
I'm not saying to relinquish your admin post or anything of the sort! As they say, all things come in threes.
But for the life of me, is it really a crazy idea to have an admin present who has ZCF openon one of his three work Monitors for ten hours a day, that then goes home and still intermittently checks it on his iPhone?
Is this not common sense?
